Article: The Key Flag (Avainlippu) awarded to Ekta Helsinki’s products

Manufactured in Finland, the Key Flag, Avainlippu, is a sign of responsible Finnish production

The Key Flag (Avainlippu) awarded to Ekta Helsinki’s products

The Association for Finnish Work has awarded the Key flag symbol to Ekta Helsinki’s products in recognition of a product made in Finland. All Ekta Helsinki’s products are weaved or knitted in factories in Finland.

The Key Flag is a sign of Finnish work. The symbol can be awarded to a product that has been made in Finland. Among Finnish consumers it is very well known and the majority of Finns (75%) also state that the Key Flag symbol has a positive impact on their purchasing decisions. Approximately half of the Finnish population associate the symbol with responsibility.

“We thought the application for the Key Flag (in Finnish know as Avainlippu) was natural as production in Finland is one of the core values of Ekta Helsinki. In addition, the Key Flag is in our opinion a very strong symbol for the responsibility of the production chain.”

Do as we have and support ethical production in Finland!
